Sometimes it's the little things that can make your day satisfying. After a recent visit to the Palace of the Legion of Honor in San Francisco, I wandered upon a small shrine from sister city Osaka, Japan. There is an impressive stele as a central feature, but at its base were these special stones, which on closer examination, are stunningly beautiful. You just have to look.
