Normally I stay home over the Memorial Day weekend, but this year Sylvia and I decided to visit the Pinnacles National Monument near Soledad, California. We heard about a bed and breakfast near the West Gate, so there we were. The weather was supposed to be hot, but the coastal fog kept things cool - perfect for hiking and photography.
