Then I got to thinking about the Raygun Gothic Rocket which is an art installation on the San Francisco embarcadero. This could make a really cool little planet - complete with rocket ship - so I picked a time when I thought there might not be too many people and shot this panorama in HDR and it became a perfect little planet!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14738228819503443723noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20761927.post-11494015577706876342011-03-02T09:12:00.001-08:002012-01-04T09:51:35.983-08:00Sugimoto Print - Pier 24

Sugimoto Print - Pier 24
Originally uploaded by SdosRemedios.
There is a well kept secret gallery in San Francisco which is home to a massively extensive photographic collection. Visiting Pier 24 is a special treat since only a small number of visitors are permitted at any given time, by reservation. It is well worth the effort to plan a 2-hour visual feast.
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14738228819503443723noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20761927.post-36521690547293170492011-01-20T09:37:00.001-08:002011-11-11T08:41:17.482-08:00Concrete Wall

Concrete Wall
Originally uploaded by SdosRemedios.
Roses are an easy subject, but hardly dramatic. It ends halfway up Shepherd Canyon Road and along the way it traverses the hillside quite high above the roadway. The trail has a wonderful canopy of trees and the canyon affords a backlight which is interesting in its own right, so you can see the forest and the tree.
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14738228819503443723noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20761927.post-35136007556682808882010-11-30T09:12:00.001-08:002011-11-11T08:42:23.242-08:00Mt. It was a treat to find these pumps on a side street in Cold Spring, New York. They are clearly non-working and abandoned, but the memories of our Country Sedan pulling into one of these stations is a powerful dose of nostalgia.
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14738228819503443723noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20761927.post-31912603091325278552010-08-11T08:19:00.001-07:002010-10-09T15:46:16.357-07:00Coming and Going

Coming and Going
Originally uploaded by SdosRemedios.
Recently I've taken an interest in botanical photography. This mimosa strikes a chord with me, although I can't identify specifically what it is that moves me about this image.
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14738228819503443723noreply@blogger.com0
